I want to thank you for your recommendation of Terry Wise as a speaker for my event! She was absolutely fantastic. We have had nothing but positive feedback on her talk and I was very impressed.
Terry was very professional and easy to work with. I enjoyed getting the chance to meet her. We had asked that Terry speak for about an hour including questions, which she did, but she had everyone so captivated, that she could have easily spoken all morning. As a second year event, our goal was to live up to the success of the first event, and I believe that Terry was an integral part of doing that.
We had similar attendance numbers as last year, even in a bad economy. I had many people attend based on our ads who specifically wanted to see Terry. One thing that I thought Terry did particularly well for our crowd was to give ideas and solutions surrounding suicide prevention and depression awareness. This is something we were lacking last year and I feel people got a good understanding of how their actions can affect people in crisis. People respond well to stories they can relate to and I think Terry was incredibly good at reaching out to many different groups in our audience. I would absolutely recommend her to any future clients.
